Once a month, I will showcase a new Heavyweight Prospect. But these prospects are not house-hold names, but instead they are fighters that few people have heard of.
Cody Koch
This months' featured prospect is Cody Koch. Koch, who is currently 24-0-0 (20 KO's), is a former Toughman champion. However, don't let that fool you, Cody is definately no Butterbean (who was only a runner-up in the competition). Koch, "The Alaskan Assassin," is still unproven, but he has fought decent opposition. He has beaten the usual suspects and he even got some air-time on Tuesday Night Fights last year (when he kayoed 11-2 Isaac Brown early in the first round). Koch also holds wins over Louis Monaco, Booker T. Word and Willie Phillips (who was 11-0 at the time of their fight). Besides possessing power, Koch is also very fast and he's a southpaw. Koch's last fight was a first round kayo over Troy Roberts.
